By booking with Mekara Aesthetics, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 

These are in place to protect both client and practitioner and ensure the highest standards of care and safety.

1. Consultations & Consent
Certain treatments (e.g. anti‑wrinkle injections) require a face‑to‑face consultation with a prescriber before treatment. If this has not taken place, your appointment will be cancelled or rescheduled.

All treatments will only proceed with full informed consent. The procedure, potential risks, expected outcomes, and aftercare will be explained before any treatment.

​

You must provide a full and accurate medical history. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in treatment refusal.

A patch test may be required for certain treatments (e.g. numbing cream, selected chemical peels) and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

2. Deposits & Payments
A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Deposits will be deducted from the final balance at your appointment.
Full payment is required on the day of treatment unless arranged otherwise.
If paying with Klarna or another payment plan, you are responsible for ensuring payments are made as agreed.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Lateness

We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the treatment cost.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment, will result in the full treatment amount being charged.

This policy reflects the time reserved exclusively for you and the costs incurred in preparing for your treatment.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may be unable to provide the full treatment. In these circumstances, the appointment may be shortened or cancelled, and the deposit may be forfeited.

Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may result in future bookings being declined.

4. Treatment Courses
Courses and packages must be completed within the recommended timeframe.
Missed or skipped sessions will be forfeited and are non‑refundable.
Results vary person to person and cannot be guaranteed.

5. Aftercare & Results
You will receive full aftercare instructions following your treatment.
It is your responsibility to follow these guidelines. Failure to do so may affect your results and eligibility for future treatments.
Results vary individually; while every effort is made to achieve the best outcome, no guarantee of results can be given.

6. Refund Policy
Treatments, Gift Cards &  are non‑refundable once carried out.
Courses/packages are non‑refundable once commenced.
Refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfaction with results where treatment has been delivered safely and as consented.

7. Age Policy
Clients must be 18 years or older for all treatments.
Proof of age may be requested.

​

8. Health & Safety
Please do not attend if you are unwell, have active cold sores, skin infections, or open wounds in the treatment area.

If these are identified on arrival, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Please do not attend if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
For insurance and safety reasons, children and pets are not permitted in the treatment room.

9. Product Allergies & Reactions
You must inform us of any allergies or sensitivities before treatment.
Although rare, side effects and reactions can occur. 
Mekara Aesthetics cannot be held responsible for adverse outcomes if full disclosure was not given.

10. Right to Refuse Treatment
We reserve the right to decline treatment if it is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or not in your best interest.
This includes cases where existing filler may need dissolving before new treatment.
In such cases, a consultation with our prescriber may be required before proceeding.

11. Photography & Records
Before and after photos need to be taken for insurance purposes.
Images will not be used for marketing without your written consent.

12. Liability
While every precaution is taken to ensure safety, side effects such as bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness, or uneven results may occur.

By booking, you acknowledge these risks and also accept that Mekara Aesthetics will not be held liable for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare advice.
